Cemetery Beautification

Summer 2018

Thank you so much for Warren County Philanthropic Partnership (WCPP), as well as Norwalk Rotary, Norwalk Lions Club and the Norwalk Cemetery for their generous contributions to Norwalk Hometown Pride’s Cemetery project, for a total of almost $10,000.

This grant was used to fund the planting of 13 trees and a new landscape bed to the border of North Avenue and Cherry Street. This will provide a much needed privacy screen and beautification to our cemetery. This area is virtually barren with no borders, privacy or plantings. We’re hoping with this initiative will kick-start other needed improvements along North Avenue and around the community.

Thank you to Bedwell Gardens for planting all of the trees, tearing down the existing border and building a new, fresh one. We can’t wait to see what springtime will bring when the Lions Club plants colorful annuals in our border.
